On Friday 20 October Breast Cancer Now, the UK's largest breast cancer research charity, will be wearing pink with thousands of people to raise money and make life-saving research happen. It's so easy to get involved and it would be great if you could join us.
Why? Because breast cancer is still here. It's still tearing apart the lives of families and it's still taking the lives of the women we love on a heart-breaking scale.
Whether you'll be at work, school or at home with friends, there are lots of ways to take part. So whatever you're doing, do it in pink. And help us to continue our life-saving research.
We've got lots of great ideas to help you make the most of your fundraising, whether you want to wear a simple pair of pink socks or organise a pink party. Just register at wearitpink.org/joinus or call 03332070300 and we'll register you over the phone.
Let's make it happen
This year, over 50,000 women in the UK will hear the words "It's breast cancer" and around 11,550 women will die from it. Research holds the key to a future where all that changes. A future where women don't have to live in fear of breast cancer, where they can create a lifetime of memories with the people they love. A future where by 2050, every woman who develops breast cancer will live - and live well.
So for the life-saving research that will stop women dying from breat cancer I will wear it pink. Will you?
